Creating a vendor

To add a new vendor, simply open the Vendors section and click on the New vendor button at the top right:



The system will redirect you to a new page, where you will need to fill out the information.



While creating a vendor, you will be asked to select company type.



Owner Operator - a type of company that owns and operates its own equipment and is usually responsible for its own maintenance. They are often independent contractors who work for themselves and may also hire drivers to operate their equipment.

Carrier - a company that provides transportation services to customers, often using their own equipment and drivers. They may specialize in a particular type of freight or mode of transportation, such as trucking or air freight.

Equipment - this type of company provides equipment, such as trucks, trailers, or containers, for transportation services. They may lease or sell equipment to carriers and other companies in the transportation industry.

Company Driver - an employee of a carrier who operates the carrier's equipment to transport freight. They are usually responsible for following company policies and procedures and may receive benefits such as health insurance and retirement plans.

Maintenance -  a maintenance company provides repair and maintenance services for equipment used in the transportation industry. They may work with carriers, owner operators, and equipment companies to keep their equipment in good working order.
