Access the KPI section via Operations → KPI on the TMS dashboard. This section provides insights into key performance indicators for fleet operations.

Overview

The KPI page includes multiple tables:

  • Operational Stats – Insights into fleet managers and overall fleet performance.

  • Sales – Breakdown of delivered loads by driver type.

  • OTR Report – Expenses for over-the-road trips, including fuel, driver salaries, insurance, and tolls.

  • Additional Income – Supplementary revenue, such as truck leasing, fuel discounts, owner-operator services, and fuel customer earnings.

  • Equipment Cost – Truck-related expenses including payments, maintenance, insurance, and damages.

  • Staff Cost – Expenses for staff salaries.

Customization

  • Each table can be filtered by a selected time range using the date selector at the top right.

KPI Calculations

  • KPI numbers are always calculated Sunday-to-Saturday, regardless of individual payroll schedules.

Cost by Department

  • Tracks payroll cost per department (e.g., Operations, Accounting) by summing employee pay within the KPI week.

  • Example: An Operations employee paid $500 in the KPI week → Operations staff cost = $500.

  • Important: Payroll dates must fall within the KPI week to be included.

Employer Taxes

  • Calculated using the federal tax rate set in your settings.

  • Example: W-2 payroll total = $500, tax rate = 10% → Employer taxes = $500 × 10% = $50.

Workers’ Compensation (WC)

  • Counts employees with payroll in the KPI week and multiplies by your WC insurance rate per employee.

  • Example: 1 employee paid, WC rate = $10 → WC cost = 1 × $10 = $10.

Note: Accurate data entry is essential for reliable KPI metrics.
