Trailer Board

To open a trailer board, click on the Operations tab in the TMS dashboard and select Trailer Board.

The trailer board provides a centralized view of all trailers associated with your organization. You can see details of trailers' locations, maintenance status, and more.

To customize the trailer board according to your needs, set the filters that you need (trailers state: all, active, out of service, needs repair; team; dispatcher; time range) and click the Search button.

The search results will be displayed below your set search parameters.

There are three sections displayed: Trailer Board, Dropped Trailers and Unassigned Trailers.

If the trailer’s number is marked in orange, it means that the trailer needs repair. If it’s marked in red, it means that the trailer is reserved. You can see all this information by hovering over the trailer's number.

To see information about unassigned trailers and assign them to drivers, scroll down to the bottom of the page where you can see a list of unassigned trailers and click on the Assign trailer button:

This will open a fill-out form.

To assign a trailer to a driver, type the driver's ID into the Driver field or select driver using a drop-out button and click on the Save button. If you need to, you can also set an end date. The start date is a mandatory field, so make sure to set it right.

To assign a trailer to a location, use the same Assign trailer button, but this time select Location form. Select the trailer's status, trailer, start date, and provide additional information if you need to.
