Access Users via TMS Dashboard → Users to view and manage all registered system users.


Overview

  • Displays user information including:

    • Contact details

    • Position/job title

    • Creation date

    • Last login

  • Helps keep user profiles up-to-date and ensures accurate communication and role management.

  • Closely linked to Employees/Staff settings.


Table Functions

  • Filter & Search: Quickly locate specific users.

  • New User: Click New User (top right) to create a user and fill out required information.


User Roles & Access

  • Assign a pre-defined role to each user.

  • Customize permissions using Access Settings to match specific job responsibilities.


Account Unlock

If a user’s account is locked, it can only be unlocked by a Superadministrator in your company. To unlock:

  1. The Superadmin visits the User page at https://app.openroadtms.com/users

  2. Searches for the locked email

  3. Opens the user panel and clicks Unlock account.


Account Restrictions

  • A user cannot have multiple OpenRoad accounts using the same email address. Each email address is unique to an account, ensuring data integrity and user authentication.

  • To create multiple accounts, users must register each account with a different email address.


Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA)

By default, all users have email MFA configured. For enhanced security, users can enable SMS MFA to receive authentication codes via their phone:

  1. Click your username and select Edit Profile.

  2. In the SMS Multi-factor Authentication dialog, enter your phone number in the Phone field and click Send Code.

  3. Enter the received code in the Verification Code field and click Verify.

  4. Upon successful verification, a confirmation message will appear.

To revert back to email MFA, visit your user profile at https://app.openroadtms.com/users/ and select Reset MFA.
