To integrate RTS with OpenRoad TMS, follow the steps below:
1. Contact RTS
Reach out to your RTS account representative and inform them that you want to integrate RTS with OpenRoad TMS. Request that they set up the FTP site and provide the necessary credentials.
2. Configure the Integration in OpenRoad
Go to OpenRoad Settings → Integrations → RTS.
Enter the FTP credentials provided by RTS into the required fields.
Click Save, then Test Connection.
If the connection is successful, proceed to the next step.
If not, double-check the entered credentials and try again.
3. Set Up Your Billing Profile
Navigate to Settings → Account → Billing.
Create a Billing Profile for RTS.
Ensure RTS is selected as the factoring option—this is essential for proper integration.

4. Configure Customer Profiles
Open each customer profile for customers you plan to invoice through RTS.
In the Billing Profile dropdown, select the profile you created with RTS as the factoring option.
Save the changes.
The Billing Profile name is configured in Settings → Account → Billing.
Important Notes
Batch Invoicing: Submit no more than 100 invoices per batch.
If submitting multiple batches, verify that the first batch is visible in RTS before sending the next one.
