Step 2: Configure vendors, drivers, trucks and assignments

After completing step 1 https://help.openroadtms.com/support/solutions/articles/151000055889-step-1-configuring-openroad-tms-settings, set up your vendors, drivers, trucks, and their assignments.

1. Vendors

A vendor must exist before you can create a driver.

• Create a vendor: https://app.openroadtms.com/companies/new
• Fill out vendor details and save.

2. Drivers

Drivers must be linked to a vendor.

• Create a driver: https://app.openroadtms.com/drivers/new
• In the Pay to field, select the vendor.
  Please note that statements will be sent to the email listed in the vendor profile.
  
  

3. Trucks

• Create a truck: https://app.openroadtms.com/trucks/new
• Once created, assign it to a driver at the Driver Assignments page at https://app.openroadtms.com/driver/assignment.
