Weather alerts

Weather alerts section can be found by clicking on the Safety tab in the TMS dashboard and selecting Weather alerts.

The Weather Alerts page displays a map with various weather alerts, such as wind advisories and winter storm warnings, indicated by different colors. The alerts are grouped into three categories: Off, Active, and Unknown. Off indicates no active alerts in the area, Active shows ongoing alerts in real-time, and Unknown represents areas where the weather data is unavailable.

The map can be updated using the date filters. A drop-down button allows you to select All, Today, This Week, This Month, This Quarter, This Year, Yesterday, Last Week, Last Week to Date, Last Quarter, and Last Year time ranges. If those options do not suit you, click on the date next to the calendar icon and set it according to your needs.

If you need to export the information about weather alerts, click on the Export Selected Period button to download an Excel file:

The Weather Alerts page also includes a list of drivers who are currently in areas with active weather alerts, enabling dispatchers to identify and communicate with drivers who may be affected by the weather. By monitoring the Weather Alerts page, dispatchers can stay informed about weather conditions in different regions and make informed decisions about route planning and driver safety.

By clicking on the driver's ID number in this list, you will be shown the driver's location in the weather alert's map along with some of his contact information, location, current destination, and load details:

If you want to add a comment or send an SMS message, click on the driver's name. This will open a fill-out form:

If you want more detailed information about a weather alert, click on the event's name in the Event column:
