Creating a load

Modified on Mon, 21 Aug, 2023 at 12:39 PM

A new load can be simply added by opening any of the loads' sections (e.g. All Loads) and clicking on an Add Load button at the top right corner.

You will be redirected to a new page and asked to provide more information about the load.

You can specify the email address where load status updates will be sent to the customer by filling in the 'Notification Email' field.

Here is an example of the email that the customer will receive:

Similarly, the 'P.O.D. Notification Email' field will be used for sending updates when the Proof of Delivery (P.O.D.) is uploaded.

Here is an example of the email that the recipient will receive:

The 'Linehaul Rate' field is the price that will be paid to the carrier for transporting the load from the origin to the destination. It is the rate for the entire distance of the transportation, without taking into account any additional charges such as fuel surcharges, tolls, or accessorials.

Additionally, it is important to ensure that the correct times for both pick up and delivery are assigned. For instance, the pick up time cannot be the same as the delivery time.

Other fields, such as Time In/Time Out, Driver with Truck Mandatory, Driver App Time Mandatory, and Don't Allow to Assign OOS Equipment, need to be configured using your account settings. To access these settings, please follow these steps:

  1. Click on your user profile icon.
  2. Select "Settings" from the drop-down menu.
  3. Click on the "Account" tab.
  4. Select the "Loads" section where you can configure the desired settings for these fields.

While creating a load, please fill out all the mandatory fields that are marked with a * symbol before clicking the Save button.
