How to resolve frozen HOS Logs?

If the Hours of Service (HOS) logs for a driver in OpenRoad appear frozen and unchanging despite the driver being active and on duty, it may indicate the existence of a duplicated driverName object within Samsara. This duplication means that there are two drivers with the same OR driver ID but with different names.


To resolve this issue, follow these steps:


1. Access your Samsara account and navigate to the Settings section.

2. From the Settings menu, select 'Drivers.'

3. Within the Drivers section, locate the area for deactivated drivers.

4. Search for the duplicated driver by using the OR driver ID number.

5. Once identified, reactivate the duplicated user account.

6. Edit the driver's name by removing the ID number. For instance, if the name was previously entered as '1234 John Johnson,' modify it to 'John Johnson.'

7. After updating the profile, deactivate the user account again.
