When performing certain actions in the Load page, you may encounter warning messages. Below are common warnings and their meanings:
1. Assignment failed due to a missing or incomplete truck assignment during the load's appointments
Cause: Occurs when trying to assign a driver who does not have a truck assigned for the load’s appointment times.
Example:
Driver’s truck assignment ends on September 26, 11:00, but the load appointment is September 26, 11:30.
The driver cannot be assigned because no truck is available at the appointment time.
Solution:
Extend the truck assignment to cover the appointment, or
Adjust the appointment time to fit within the current truck assignment.
2. Cannot assign driver to not accepted EDI load
Cause: Happens if an EDI load was canceled and then reset to Booked, leaving the EDI Accepted checkbox unchecked.
Solution:
Check the EDI Accepted checkbox to allow driver assignment.
If you cannot access this checkbox, contact support.
3. Positions must be sequential
Cause: Occurs when load appointments are out of logical sequence.
Example: For a load with two pickups and one delivery, Pickup 2 cannot be scheduled earlier than Pickup 1.
Solution: Adjust the appointment order so that pickups and deliveries follow a sequential timeline.
4. Address Geocoding coordinates are missing
Cause: The system cannot find coordinates for the entered address.
Solution: Click on the address line and select one of the suggested options to populate coordinates.
